The company is committed to solving the "heavy, brittle, and rigid" pain points of traditional PV modules. Relying on the national-level scientific research achievement "Second Prize of the National Natural Science Award", it has innovatively launched the TSR-Armor™ Tri-Scale Synergistic Reinforcement Technology, which puts "invisible armor" on rigid and brittle solar cells. It has developed the industry's first "anti-hail, crack-free" flexible lightweight crystalline silicon module and the industry's first "walkable, crack-free" lightweight rigid crystalline silicon module. Taking "lightweight" as the product foundation and "strength" as the technical cornerstone, it leads the new era of photovoltaic lightweighting and provides a series of lightweight PV solutions for all application scenarios.
The power generation principle is the same as traditional PV modules, based on the photovoltaic effect. Photovoltaic power generation: sunlight → strikes silicon semiconductor → knocks out free electrons → PN junction electric field drives them directionally → generates direct current → inverter converts to AC for use.
3.1 Core Technology: TSR-Armor™ Tri-Scale Synergistic Reinforcement Technology, putting "invisible armor" on rigid and brittle solar cells. 3.2 Application Scenarios: The entire series of products weigh only 2.9~7.3 kg/m², meeting the needs of ultra-low load roofs, curved and irregular buildings, full roof paving, and various other scenarios. 3.3 Core Advantages: Crack-free core guarantee, "flexible yet impact-resistant, lightweight rigid yet walkable".
Widely used on weight-restricted commercial and industrial color steel tile rooftops, TPO/PVC waterproof membrane roofs, curved/special-shaped buildings, BIPV (Building Integrated Photovoltaics), transportation hubs, as well as mobile energy fields such as RVs, yachts, and portable systems.
The weight is only 20%-50% of that of glass modules, eliminating the need for expensive roof reinforcement. They support direct adhesive bonding or lightweight clamp installation, requiring no mounting racks, significantly improving construction efficiency, and without damaging the original waterproof layer of the roof.
Using high-efficiency monocrystalline silicon cells (PERC or TOPCon), the maximum module conversion efficiency can exceed 23.5%, which is essentially consistent with mainstream conventional glass modules.
It has passed TÜV, CE, CQC, KS, and JPAC certifications, meeting IEC 61215 and IEC 61730 standards. It has also successfully passed extreme condition tests including 25mm hail impact test, Level 17 wind tunnel test, Level 6 salt mist test, and 5400Pa mechanical load test.
The core technology is TSR-Armor™ Tri-Scale Synergistic Reinforcement Technology. By combining nano-scale graphene oxide, micron-scale ultra-high aspect ratio fiber layers, and a macroscopic high-strength resin matrix, it forms a composite material with extremely high specific strength, providing brittle solar cells with an "invisible armor".
The design service life exceeds 25 years. For flexible lightweight modules, we provide a 12-year product material and workmanship warranty and a 25-year linear power output warranty; for lightweight rigid modules, we provide a 15-year product material and workmanship warranty and a 30-year linear power output warranty. ZKFN SOLAR modules are insured by China Continent Property & Casualty Insurance Company.
Yes, it can work. Although solar irradiance decreases in rainy and smoggy weather, reducing power generation, the modules can still capture scattered light for photovoltaic conversion and produce a certain amount of electricity.
The PV modules themselves convert light energy into direct current and do not produce high-frequency electromagnetic radiation. The electromagnetic radiation generated by electrical equipment such as inverters is strictly controlled within national safety standards and is harmless to the human body.
Installation is very convenient. The SolarVela, SolarPega, and SolarPegaL series can be directly bonded using PV-specific structural adhesive; the SolarNoah, SolarPegaF, and SolarPegaFL series can be non-destructively fixed with dedicated clamps, all without the need for heavy mounting racks.
For the installation of SolarVela, SolarPega, and SolarPegaL series modules, construction personnel need to master the standard application process for structural adhesive. For the SolarNoah, SolarPegaF, and SolarPegaFL series modules, due to the specially designed Quick-clamp, construction is simpler and faster than with traditional modules. Electrical construction must comply with local regulations.
They are very suitable for low-load, large-span factories, curved or wave-shaped special-shaped roofs, glass skylights, and TPO/PVC membrane roofs with extremely high waterproofing requirements.
The safe operating ambient temperature range of the modules is -40°C to +85°C, capable of adapting to the extreme cold and heat climates of most regions.
ZKFN SOLAR lightweight modules use flame-retardant composite encapsulation materials, with a fire performance rating of UL790 Class C or above, meeting the fire safety requirements for building rooftops.
Thanks to TSR-Armor™ technology, the entire series of modules has passed the hail test of 25mm ice balls impacting at 23m/s. EL inspection shows no microcracks and zero power degradation. Specially reinforced modules have even better hail resistance, completely solving the pain point of traditional lightweight modules being easily damaged by hail.
Very convenient. For models installed with clamps, the pressure blocks can be directly removed for replacement. For models bonded with structural adhesive, a single module can be non-destructively replaced within 30 minutes using a dedicated adhesive removal tool.
The module surface has a super-hydrophobic self-cleaning function, and daily rainfall can remove dust. If manual cleaning is required, it is recommended to use a soft brush and clean water. For the SolarPega lightweight rigid series, if the installation plan adopts the ZKFN SOLAR walkable installation solution, O&M personnel weighing no more than 80 kg are allowed to walk directly on the modules wearing soft-soled shoes for cleaning.
The surface of ZKFN SOLAR flexible lightweight modules uses highly weather-resistant fluororesin material and has a frameless design. It has passed IEC salt mist (Level 6) and ammonia gas corrosion enhanced tests, making it very suitable for coastal areas and heavily polluted industrial plants. The lightweight rigid modules have weather resistance consistent with or better than conventional single-glass modules.
